How about a lovely Christmas present? The Barbican Lounge has offered readers of My London Guide the chance to win a meal for two.
The Barbican Lounge
The restaurant is a new concept which features lots of small plates, which is all the rage with London restaurants this year. On the menu are small plate dishes from braised pork belly and roasted pear, to rope mussels in parsley liquor, devilled whitebait, scotch egg and caponata with parmesan biscotti. The ‘not so small’ puddings include chocolate fondue and rice pudding served with spiced plum compote.
The seating area is casual and in the summer the restaurant opens up to a massive terrace with a lakeside view.
