Terence Conran: The Way We Live Now features Conran's own designs and explores those he admired or commissioned from others.

See how Conran's designs influenced domestic life and food through archive material, original designs, art, models and graphics. The exhibition centres around key themes or eras, including:
-Post-war austerity
-The new sensibility of the 1951 Festival of Britain
-The birth of the Independent Group
-The Pop explosion of the 1960s
-The design boom of the 1980s
-The present day
Sir Terence Conran is one of the world's best-known designers, as well as a restaurateur and a retailer.

In 1956 he founded the Conran Design Studio, and later the influential home furnishings chain Habitat.

In 2009 Conran opened two unique new venues in London, restaurant-cum-hotel The Boundary in Shoreditch and French restaurant Lutyens on Fleet Street.
