Sarah Jessica Parker shows Cheryl Cole how to do colors with a right outfit

When Cheryl Cole arrived for the first day of X Factor USA auditions wearing an orange top, purple trousers and turquoise belt, she was widely ridiculed for her outfit choice.

So who better than the most stylish Sex and the city actress and fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker to show the singer exactly how to pull off color blocking in the best way.

Parker looked stunning as she arrived for an interview with David Letterman show wearing a bright red shirt, pink trousers and white shoes.

After her appearance on the show, where she was promoting her new movie I Don't Know How She Does It, Sarah changed into a more casual and weather appropriate outfit to head home. The actress was spotted leaving the theatre in flared grey chord trousers and a warm black coat but still with her hair and make up in perfect condition.

It's not the first time Cheryl and Sarah have adopted the same style. Back in May, Sarah stepped out with extremely volume hair as she attended the Robin Hood Foundation annual benefit in New York, just days after Cheryl's hair-raising look at the X Factor auditions.

Sarah became a style icon in her own right after her role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City garnered her international fashion following. She even became creative director for fashion house Halson Heritage.

The actress also recently revealed that there is a third Sex and the City movie in the works.

Anyway, Sarah knows how to put colors so that outfit will look really gorgeous. She knows a lot about fashion. But Cheryl should be careful next time in picking outfit that doesn’t suit her at all.
