Financial Accounting Manager

Our client, a world leading technology based consultancy firm based in the Victoria area is currently looking to add to its existing finance team.
The Financial Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the company's financial accounting, reporting and control activities across the business to ensure that they are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing monthly management accounts and assisting with the analysis and interpretation of performance to ensure that decision makers are appropriately informed and influenced
* Introduction and enhancement of current CFO report, management accounts and dashboard, including production and development of KPI's
* Responsible for FSA returns
* Develop systems and procedure to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's finances, to include:
o Developing current SAP systems and procedures
o Develop systems required to report profitability by client
o Implement a PO system
o Ensure compliance with best practice and safeguard the assets of the company
* Manage the relationship with the auditors and tax advisors
* Develop accounting policies in accordance with UK Gaap and relevant standards
* Manage accounts payable and payroll functions, liaising with HR as appropriate
* Responsible for EMI share option scheme
* Responsible for all tax returns
You will be an ACA qualified accountant, have strong technical ability and Excel skills. Experience implementing / improving systems and processes is essential as is the ability to lead and guide a team.
