Dreamboats and Petticoats is a brand new musical inspired by one of last year's biggest selling albums. The album Dreamboats and Petticoats brought together some of the greatest songs of the 1950's and 1960's, and sold over 600,000 copies. Now those songs are brought to life on stage in this hilarious romantic comedy. Young musicians Bobby and Norman compete for the attention of their infatuated female fans until they encounter the beautiful Laura. Not only is she gorgeous, but Laura herself is a talented musician and soon after they meet, rock’n’roll stardom beckons. The story is driven by classics by artists such as Eddie Cochrane, Billy Fury, the Shadows, Roy Orbison and Chuck Berry.

The show is written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, the men behind such celebrated comedies as Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds of a Feather and Shine On Harvey Moon.
