Entitled a Hankering After Ghosts: Charles Dickens and the Supernatural, the exhibition on Charles Dickens at British Library takes a look at the supernatural world in both his writing and the 19th century England. Bringing to life various different spooks and ghouls from his works, visitors can learn more about what Dickens thought about different phenomena, and how the advancing scientific techniques of the day were casting light on the superstitions and beliefs prevalent in contemporary society.
