Business Analyst (Finance)

A leading provider of portfolio analytics and data solutions for the global asset management business sector is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work out of their South West London offices.

Working within the finance department, including regional finance teams, you will be responsible for preparing the consolidated Group MI pack, budgets, and forecasts and provide key financial insight through analysis and commentary on the groups performance. Your role will be to deliver a monthly Group MI pack to include P&L, BS, Cash Flow, sales reporting and KPIs. This will include analyses and performance comparison against forecast/budget and provide key financial insight and commentary. You will further develop the monthly MI pack to improve the scope, accuracy, and timeliness of information provided to the business and working closely with Regional FCs/CFOs, improve the quality of commentary and provide regular challenge and support.

Other key areas of responsibility will be to manage and develop the budgeting and forecasting for the business. Develop additional areas of reporting e.g. client / product profitability. Prepare Group Balanced Business Scorecard reporting and to assist in preparation of the Annual / Interim reports and Investor presentations.

In order to qualify for this role you will need to be fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Have strong technical / analytical skills with the ability to think logically with proven problem solving capabilities. Experience of finance systems (Epicor/Sage would be an advantage) and advanced Excel skills.
